Every day at 8 AM Eastern for the next four weeks, search the public web for new mentions of [brand name] and [product names], including news, blogs, forums and public social posts you can reach. Skip our own website and accounts, and anything you reported in an earlier run. In one message in ChatGPT, list each new mention with the link, the date, where it appeared, a one-sentence summary and a sentiment note (positive, neutral, negative or mixed). Put negative mentions and questions that seem to need a response from us at the top. Don't reply, comment, like or share anything, and don't contact anyone. If a site blocks you or needs a sign-in, list it as not checked. If there are no new mentions, say so in one line. Confirm the schedule.
Paste it into your dot's conversation in ChatGPT. Edit anything in [brackets] first.
How it works
- Replace the brand and product names. Add common misspellings or handles people use, and name anything to ignore, such as a company with a similar name.
- Change the time and time zone to yours, then paste. Your dot should confirm the schedule back to you. You can review it later under Scheduled in your dot’s profile.
- After the first report, tell your dot which sources were noise and which it missed. The prompt already asks it to leave out mentions it reported before.
- Coverage is limited to pages your dot’s browser can reach. Some websites block cloud browsers or require extra verification, so a quiet day means nothing was found, not that nothing was said.
- Responding stays with you. If a mention needs a reply, ask your dot for a draft and post it yourself.
