Prompt
Every Friday at 8 AM Eastern for the next six weeks, research what's new on [topic] from the past seven days. Pick the five most important developments, favoring primary sources such as official announcements, filings, papers and release notes over commentary. For each, give a one-line headline, two sentences on what happened and why it matters, the date, and a link to the source. Skip anything you've already reported in an earlier digest unless there is a meaningful new development, and say what's new about it. Send the digest in one message in ChatGPT. If you find fewer than five items worth my time, list only those. If there's nothing new, say so in one line. Confirm the schedule.

Paste it into your dot's conversation in ChatGPT. Edit anything in [brackets] first.

How it works

  1. Replace [topic] with something specific. “EU AI rules for hiring tools” gets a sharper digest than “AI”.
  2. Change the day, time and time zone, then paste the prompt. Your dot should confirm the schedule.
  3. After the first digest, tell your dot which sources to trust more or ignore (“skip vendor blogs”) and it adjusts.
  4. Check links before you pass items along. The digest is a starting point, not a verified source.
